About
A deliberately small studio for founders who compete on how their software feels. Two engineers who cannot leave a detail alone, and a design partner who feels the same.

Why Boardly
Dear founder,
People will not remember your pitch or your roadmap. They remember how the product felt the first time they touched it. The half second after a tap decides more than most decks do.
The two of us met in 2022, in the first year of our computer science study, and became friends over the same habit. Neither of us can leave a small thing alone. A transition that lands slightly wrong, a button that answers a beat late, a list that starts to stutter once it gets long. We both wanted to understand how good products keep behaving well as they grow, and it turned out we cared about that in the same way.
That is what Boardly is for. Two engineers and a design partner, working on a few products at a time, close to the people who build them. The design partner is Studio Sphere, which Finn founded and still runs, so design and engineering sit at one table from the first day. We work next to you rather than for you. We tell you when we are full. And we write our code so that whoever touches it next has an easy day.
If that sounds like your kind of picky, write to us.

How we work
How we work
Together. One room, one brief. Design by Studio Sphere, engineering by us, no handoff to lose things in.
Small. Two founders. A few builds at a time. The attention the details demand, or we do not take the work.
Shipped. A scoped project or ongoing engineering as you grow. Either way it goes live, and it keeps working.
People
Two founders, friends since the first year of computer science study. Design is led by Studio Sphere, the studio Finn founded and still runs alongside Boardly.
